About The Trail

The trail began at the Times of India office, Hyderabad. The first stop was Uppal X Roads (approx. 16kms) and the second stop was the Bhongir fort, which is 39kms from Uppal. The trail culminated at Yadagirigutta (15kms from Bhongir), which is a famous temple town in the state of Telangana. It was an exciting ride led by the Experience Architect, Aditya Mehta, a para-cyclist and a double silver medallist at Asian Para Cycling Championship.

Aditya Mehta

Aditya Mehta is a Para Cyclist from Hyderabad. His right leg is amputated above the knee as a result of an unfortunate accident. He soon discovered cycling and it became his passion. He has participated in multiple events and has added a new chapter to his life. It is now his dream to help other physically challenged people discover the joy of sport. He has completed the Manali to Khardungala track which is the world’s highest motor-able road. He is also a double silver awardee for India at Hero Para Asian cycling Championship, and is registered in the Limca books of record (2013 edition) for fastest 100kms with an artificial limb Rode from London to Paris.
