Trail Itinerary

Day 1 - Thol Bird Sanctuary (18th February, 2018)
The participants will meet Mr. Sanat Shodhan, the Experience Architect for the trail. After a brief session, they will be driving to Thol Bird Sanctuary. They will then travel back to Ahmedabad and in the evening share their experience and images with the Experience Architect and learn photography tricks from him.
Day 2 - Indian Wild Ass Wildlife Sanctuary (19th February, 2018)
The participants will reach the location in the morning post an early breakfast. After lunch, they will visit the sanctuary for a jeep safari and get to capture some wildlife creatures other than the Indian Wild Ass in Rann of Kutch. In the evening, they will be discussing their work with the Experience Architect.
Day 3 - Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary (20th February, 2018)
Participants will leave for the location early morning and capture the sunrise at the bird sanctuary after which they will break for breakfast. This will be followed by a session of photography in the park. After lunch, the participants will drive down to the Blackbuck National Park. Post check in and rest, a short session on bird photography will be conducted followed by dinner and stay.
Day 4 - Blackbuck National Park (21st February, 2018)
Participants will start early morning for their photography expedition inside the location which will be followed by breakfast. Then there is a session and lunch after which participants will venture into the Park. In the evening, they will be sharing their work with co-participants. Dinner and overnight stay in Velavadar.
Day 5 - Gir National Park (22nd February, 2018)
Post an early breakfast, participants will leave for the location. After check- in and lunch, they will venture into the park with the new set of skills and tricks shared by the Experience Architect. In the evening, they will be working on their photographs which they will later be sharing with their co-participants. Dinner and overnight stay in Gir.

Know The Experience Architect

Sanat Shodhan

Sanat Shodhan is a nationally and internationally well-known nature and wildlife photographer. He received a prestigious AIIPC photography degree from India International Photography Council, New Delhi in 2003. He has won 60 national and international awards and prizes in wildlife photography. Shodhan was selected by Jindal and Fuji Film International as one of the “Super Six” wildlife photographers of India in 2008. He published his Book “My journey into the wild” in 2012, which had 450 wildlife photographs of wildlife. The book was released by PM Shri Narendra Modi and was acclaimed as one of the best book by top photographers of the world. It was a proud moment for India when he received the greatest honour in 2014 after being selected as one of the nine juries from all over the world to judge the world’s biggest photography competition organised in Dubai by the King of Dubai Shaikh Rashid. This man has over 30000 photographs in his collection and his photos have been published in all top magazines of India and many calendars.
