Trail Itinerary

Day 2 - 8th October, 2016
The day begins with an early morning visit to Sanjay Akhara to photograph the wrestlers busy with their daily regimen . After this, participants head to Connaught Place to capture the weekend hustle and bustle at the Central Delhi streets. Post Lunch and a learning session with Nick, the participants travel to Dilli Haat.
Day 3 - 9th October, 2016
The day begins with participants heading to the Humayun's Tomb followed by a visit to the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. Post lunch at the Gurudwara, there will be a learning session with Nick. In the evening, the participants will visit the Kalibari area to witness Durga Puja celebrations and have dinner at the pandals.
Day 4 - 10th October, 2016
Participants head early morning to Hailey Road to see Agrasen ki Baoli and Dhobi Ghat and then go to capture the streets of Old Delhi covering Kinari Bazar, Khari Baoli, finally reaching Parathewali Gali. Following this, there shall be a learning session with the Experience Architect post which participants will travel to capture the streets of Lutyen's Delhi at India Gate.
Day 5 - 11th October, 2016
Post a review and feedback session by Nick, participants head for Ram Leela grounds at Red Fort to capture the burning Ravana effigies. This will be followed by a culminating dinner.

Nick Fleming

Nick Fleming’s photographs do not ‘capture’ moments. They set them free and enable the other to live them. Aware of the complexities that underlie the process of subject photographing subject, his photos emanate a profound sense of beauty and honesty.

While based in Italy, he has worked on news features and picture stories, book covers and private commissions. His solo exhibitions include “The Kumbh Mela: Personal Pilgrimages”, “The Making of a British Gurkha Soldier”, and “Living Divinely” among others.

He has also lectured at the Royal Geographical Society, the Victoria and Albert Museum and taught and lectured at Art in Action.

Sanjay Sharma

Sanjay is passionate about everything he does; from whipping up exotic dishes in the kitchen to capturing breath-taking frames. A photojournalist for over 30 years, he has worked with leading publications and international agencies. As a corporate and media photographer for clients that range from magazines to ad agencies, he thrives on the variety of the projects he tackles. As Sanjay sums it up, “Every day is different because I do what I love”.
